May 18, 2005: Another Enterprise Roadmap
James Melzer has developed an impressive roadmap (268Kb PDF) for Enterprise Content Management in Context. After your initial review you may be overwhelmed, as I was, but don't worry: take a deeper look and you'll find it quite useful.
James' roadmap is designed to show how enterprise content management and EIA fit together in the US federal government environment (you'll find it useful for other types of enterprises as well). It's a great way to get the diverse types of people involved on the same page: records managers, enterprise architects, information architects, librarians, content managers, IT staff, and managers.
Read James' blog entry for more details and comments.
