Jul 21, 2004: AIfIA Launches IA Mentoring Program

More good stuff from AIfIA; a new mentoring program, which "aims to improve the skills of current and future information architects by providing them with the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced IA. Mentees must be AIfIA members, but mentors do not." Kudos to organizers Jeff Lash and Donna Maurer.

i think this is something that should be expanded on in IT, mentoring.

Lou, this is a really great idea, and I only wish that it was available in other fields of practice.

We are providing a similar service in the broader intranet field (our "Intranet Mentoring Programme"), but there is still so much ground to be covered...

Cheers, James
