Oct 30, 2008: Feedburner expert in the house?

Feedburner has suddenly decided that my various Rosenfeld Media feeds have many fewer subscribers than they did not long ago. Argh. I don't get it, and it looks like a long and bitter trail through their forums and help material to get an answer, if there is one.

I'd be glad to barter a couple books for some help from someone who has some insight into the how and why of Feedburner. Please let me know if you might be able to enlighten me.

No real insight here, but I've seen it mess up like that for a day or two and then go back to normal. If it stays like that for a while, though, it's probably something worse and calls for expert help.

I've seen that happen too. As Kevin says, it normally settles down after a day or two. If it doesn't, it's possible that Google/Feedburner may have changed their methodology to count subscribers in a different way - but you'd normally see reports of this across the web. Anyway, do get in touch if it doesn't fix itself in a few days and I'll see what I can do...

Hey guys, thanks so much for the suggestions and offers to help. Turns out that a friend who works with one of Feedburner's founders got him in touch with me. So I should be in good hands. :-) Thanks again!
