Zoo Atlanta is located in historic Grant Park, minutes from downtown Atlanta and less than a mile from Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves. Nearby attractions include the rest of Grant Park, the Civil War Museum and Atlanta Cyclorama. Or venture outside the neighborhood for a tour of the CNN Studios, the World of Coca Cola, or to visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site.

The seminars will be held in the Coca Cola World Studio inside the Zoo's Conservation Action Resource Center. Zoo admission is included with your seminar registration, and parking at the Zoo is free.

Getting to Atlanta

By Air: Atlanta is served by Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Located just 10 miles south of downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield Airport is accessible via many ground transportation options, including local Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) trains and buses right inside the terminal, limousines, and numerous metro and hotel shuttles.
By Train: Amtrak trains stop at 1688 Peachtree Street NW.

Getting to Zoo Atlanta

By Train and Bus: Zoo Atlanta is served by MARTA bus route 97. Visit MARTA for schedule information.
By Car: From Interstate 20, Take Exit 59A (Boulevard) and proceed south 0.5 mile. Park in the lots on Boulevard. From Interstate 75/85, take Exit 246 (Fulton Street) and drive east on Fulton Street. Turn right at Capitol Avenue. Follow Capitol to the first light, turn left on Georgia Avenue. Georgia Avenue ends at the Cherokee Avenue lot. Parking is free. Getting Around Atlanta

Atlanta's bus and rapid rail system, MARTA, is just $1.75 a ride and most major hotels and attractions, including Hartsfield airport, are on either the north-south or east-west line.

Hotels

The closest hotels are the Comfort Inn and Country Inn & Suites, near Turner Field and about a mile from the Zoo. Downtown hotels are two to three miles away, and include the Marriott Marquis, the Hilton Atlanta, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, and Courtyard by Marriott.

Meals

Continental breakfast will be provided from 8-9am. Box lunch and snacks for the two coffee breaks are also included.
